We are drawn to artistic expression to record those moments that reveal to us the beauty in the world in which we live.

By presenting these works, we hope to share and explore with others those moments; moments that cause us to pause and appreciate the diversity of experience, the unimaginable complexity and fullness of life, and the range, subtlety and nuance of emotion and character found in people, animals, places and relationships.

 

 

Whether working with paint, handmade papers or glass, the intrigue for me lies in the process, the commitment to being fully present, fully engaged in the moment.  I love the dance between dualities: illusion and reality, light and shadow, stillness and movement, structure and spontaneity. My compositions often refer to inner landscapes, juxtaposed ideas, and the poetry of being.  The practices of yoga and meditation greatly influence my creative process.  In acknowledgement of this, my Sanskrit yogic name often figures in my art as signature.
