I’ve photographed people and places around the world, but un-manipulated photographs of nature inspire me most.

Composition and cropping, as far as possible, is accomplished through the lens.  I believe natural beauty need not be enhanced but can stand on its own, be it the flow of water, ice and snow: the intricacy of flowers, the patterns in rock and sand, the grandeur of mountains and canyons, the moodiness of fog or the gentleness of rain, the shifting vagaries of light, the procession of decay and rebirth, as well as the works of man.
